Studio Work
Stephen studied violin at the London Guildhall School of Music & Drama. As a violinist, Stephen has worked with most of London's busiest studio orchestras, recording film scores with composers such as Alan Silvestri (Tomb Raider), Joby Talbot (League of Gentlemen), Alexandre Desplat (Girl with the Pearl Earring), Helen Long, Murray Gold and Andrew Lloyd Webber. He has also enjoyed recording with many high profile artists including Lionel Richie, Grace Jones, Tina Turner, Keane, Placebo and Travis.
Live Tours and Concerts
Live dates and tours include Madonna, Jamiroquai, The Noisettes, Sonique and Gabrielle as well as several years touring with the Reggae Philharmonic Orchestra. Stephen has also worked on many West End shows and on cast albums including Guys & Dolls and My Fair Lady as well as freelancing with classical orchestras including the Britten Sinfonia, Pro Arte Orchestra, Sinfonia Of London and many more. Stephen still enjoys leading the Urban Soul Orchestra in a busy live performing and recording schedule.
